Gardeners Garden

The clients asked for a re-think in terms of both hard and soft landscaping, with particular attention paid to the view towards the new house under construction next door.  There were to be various seating areas including a new summerhouse and a space for the existing pergola-bench.

Other items were to be retained, including large pots and statues.  Other potted plants were to be liberated and planted in the borders.

The existing Dwarf Pine and large Sage shrub were to be kept as key features

The completed garden has matured and flourished under the expert care of the owners.  Key varieties such as Iris ‘Caesar’s Brother’ and Agapanthus are repeat planted for continuity, with herbs and shrubs adding scent and colour.  Ornamental and fruiting Pear trees filter the view to the new house.
