The Green Room

Burnham

Timber pergolas, trees, mature evergreen shrubs and a friendly Easter Island figure combine to create a relaxed and informal space that feels private and secluded.  Reclaimed brick and Limestone paths link the seating areas and pass through the main focal point; three central raised beds, also in reclaimed brick, included as a space to grow garden vegetables

A specimen Loquat tree (Eriobotrya japonica) adds a tropical vibe and associates well with the neighbouring Sumach

Climbers are planted on trellis against the house (Akebia) and on the two pergolas (Star Jasmin & Wisteria) to provide foliage, flower and scent, and further enhance the ‘Green Room’ concept as the garden matures
